Best of the Best goes digital

Formerly the People’s Choice Awards, The Monett Times and Cassville Democrat Best of the Best contest is now running, ad voting has gone digital. CherryRoad has developed its own Best of the Best software to replace the People’s Choice this year.

Eagles dominate Clever

The Pierce City football team spread the touchdowns around on Friday, executing with intent to secure a 47-7 win over Clever on the road. Clayten O’Hara led the Eagled with three scores, and Quortin Parks, Zane Clayton and Kyler McWilliams also found paydirt.

News in brief

The Pierce City Senior Center will be serving lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Everyone is welcome and lunch is $5 for those ages 55 and older, and $6 for those under 55. Carryout meals will be available to those who contact the center at 417-4765006 before 10:30 a.m. Carry-out meals may be picked up between 11:30 a.m. and noon. Also, Nell’s Nails will be serving seniors for a nominal fee at 9 a.m. the first Thursday of each month.
