New directory provides quick, easy means to locate interred loved ones at Pierce City Cemetery Members of the Pierce City Cemetery Association were on hand at the Pierce City Cemetery during Memorial Day Weekend to help those who came to decorate the graves of loved ones find where their deceased family members were buried, and this year, they had a new tool to use in the search: A cemetery directory put together by Ron Bowen. “This directory for the cemetery allows family members to come and find out where their family member is,” said Ellis Motley, a member of the Pierce City Cemetery Association, “and you can either just look by yourself or you can get some assistance from a book … for a specific area.” .

As dry conditions has livestock producers searching for hay to feed their animals, the Missouri Department of Agriculture is warning them to watch out for scams involving the sale of hay through social media accounts. In a press release, the department stated they had received reports of farmers who pay for hay upfront through a wire transfer, only for the hay to never be delivered.
