Six injured in area traffic crashes

Six people received injuries, ranging from minor to serious, in five traffic crashes in the Barry-Lawrence County area between Tuesday, June 20 and Monday, June 26, according to crash reports posted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A Cassville woman was injured in a crash when her motorcycle struck another vehicle on Highway 39 in Shell Knob at 12:33 p.m.

Water talk

Last year during the drought, one of our farm employees suggested that it would be a good idea while the water level was low, to clean out an old pond on our property here at the research farm. After some conversations we decided that it would be more economical to run a water line from an existing well to a new water tank than to spend money cleaning out the pond. In the end, we did not do either, but we did talk about.
