Pauline C. Daniel, 89, of Monett, died Saturday, April 30, at her home. Funeral services are being held on Wednesday, May 4, at 10 a.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett, with Rev. Tony Martin officiating. Burial will follow services at the Calton Cemetery in Pleasant Ridge.

Kenda Jean Harris

Kenda Jean Harris, age 44, of Lampe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri. The daughter of Robert and Debbe (Balmas) Jones, Kenda was born on April 10, 1978, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Kenda enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds and was a fan of many genres of music. She loved the outdoors and never missed an opportunity to go fishing, floating, or swimming. Kenda’s family and friends were very important to her, she was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Survivors include: her loving husband, Kent Harris, of Lampe; her two children, Shelby “Lane” Morrison, of Monett, and Rylee Writer and her husband Cordale, of Monett; two stepsons, Michael “Cale” Harris, of Seligman, and Tanner Harris, of Shell Knob; one granddaughter, Charlotte “Charlie” Writer, and one grandson on the way Calahan Writer; her father, Robert Jones and his wife Debbie, of Lebanon; her mother, Debbe Jones and her husband Bob Welde, of Monett; one sister, Melissa Jones, of Purdy; and several nieces and nephews.

The current coach at Yates Center in southeast Kansas, a 2A school, Neville said he is excited for the opportunity to come back to Missouri.
