Elrod new assistant cheer coach

Savannah Elrod is the new assistant cheer coach at Monett High School. Elrod, who owns POP! Cheer Factory in Monett, is a veteran of the cheer world and brings over a decade of coaching experience to her new role.

began rehearsals for its 44th season on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the Monett High School Performing Arts Center. Area musicians are welcome to participate. Positions are available, depending on the instruments. Players must be able to read scores, maintain pace and follow the conductor. Rehearsals are at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays weekly.
