Virgie Ellen Thomas, age 93, of Miller, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at the Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon. She was born Oct. 25, 1929, in Bowers Mill, the daughter of Eldridge and Ruth (Kelley) Curtis.
