Verona City Council hears wastewater plant details

Details about the new Verona wastewater treatment plant emerged at the December meeting of the Verona City Council, as engineers Eric DeGruson and Jason Coleman from the Joplin-based firm Allgeier, Martin and Associates discussed plans for the $5 million facility. The grant, awarded in December from the Missouri allocation from the federal American Rescue Plan, will be matched by $120,000 in ARPA funds secured earlier by the city.
