Robert Henry O’Neal, age 83, of Aurora, passed away at 3:46 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Bell, Calif., the son of Joseph Henry and Julia Aleen (Rehard) O’Neal.
Gladys JoAnne Raines, age 88, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Sunday,Dec.25,2022,atthe Ozarks Methodist Manor, in Marionville. Missouri. She was born March 5, 1934, in Gilliam, the daughter of Mac and Bess (Richardson) Thomson.

A Washburn man is facing several felony charges after reportedly attempting to rob a man at knife-point outside the Rapid Robert’s convenience store in Monett. Landon Hendrix, 23, of Washburn, has been charged with firstdegree attempted robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
