Cox Monett president outlines services offered
Andrea McKay, who was appointed president of Cox Monett Hospital in June , has had a few months to get to know the facility and employees, and spoke to members of the Monett Kiwanis Club of the wealth of services offered to rural residents seeking health care. “Our mission is to improve the health of the communities we serve through quality health care, education and research,” she said.

Members of the Monett City Council have approved a paid leave donation policy for city employees. Employees wishing to donate leave to a co-worker who is having a medical emergency and has exhausted their own paid leave may discuss the matter confidentially with City Administrator Chris Weiner concerning how many hours they would like to donate.

Students conquer English Language Development skills
Monett School Board President Brian Hunter congratulates Gregorio Moreno at a special ceremony held Thursday evening at Monett Middle School. Moreno was one of 41 students, ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, who has completed the English Language Development program.
