Monett Council approves energy ordinance

Agreement allows energy commission to advocate on behalf of city Monett commissioners approved the first and second reading of an ordinance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) by the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission (MJMEUC) for waivers under the Public Utility Policies Act of 1978. Drake by a yard!

Brawl trophy back home

For the first time since 2016, Monett welcomed home the Barry County Brawl trophy and bragging rights with a 27-3 win over Cassville. Monett punted on its initial possession, the Purple Haze defense went to work and forced a fumble on Cassville's first play as Marcus Young emerged with the ball at the 30.
