Mark Dale Vineyard, 68, of Monett, passed away February 15, 2024 surrounded by his family. Mark was born June 25, 1955 in Spokane, Washington. He was the youngest of 6 children born to Paul and Mary (Tannahill) Vineyard. He was preceded in death by his 3 older brothers, Paul Vineyard, Jr., David Vineyard and Daniel Vineyard, Sr. He is survived by his 2 sisters, Sue Downs and Joan Barton. Mark enlisted with the United States Marine Corps in 1975 and was a proud Marine. He married Katherine (Kettner) Vineyard on January 28, 1984. He is remembered by his loving family- his wife Kathy, his 3 children and their spouses: Bryan and Neta Taylor, Amy and Jon Williams and Mendy and Justin Nash.

Jacob Andrew Tartar, age 87, of Ozark, formerly of Miller, passed away at 10:28 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. He was born Feb. 11, 1937, in Jasper County, the son of Edward and Mrytie (Clopton) McKelvey.

It is with heavy hearts and precious memories we share the passing of Carrie Louise Rose, age 97, of Cassville, Missouri. Carrie passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Arkansas after a sudden illness.

Kigan Marie Mills, age 37, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 1:11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. She was born Nov. 18, 1986, in Springfield, the daughter of Anthony Lee “Tony” and Donanna (England) Smith.

James McKinney “Jim” Bower, age 85, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at his home. He was born May 21, 1938 to Austin J.

Judy M. (Ballay) Fisher, 72, of Haysville, KS, formerly of one, passed away on Feb.

Frances (Brashears) Brown, age 97, of Springfield, formerly of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 10:25 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Republic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Republic. She was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Gustave August Wilhelm and Selma Caroline Dorethea (Aufdembrink) Block.

Emory Lee Bateman, daughter of Llanden Lee Bateman and Audry Catherine Worley, of Aurora, started life as an angel on Sunday, Feb. 11.
