Mrs. Jean M. Dawson, 91, of Albuquerque NM, passed away at 1:33 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 1 at home surrounded by family. She was born April 2, 1932 in Monett, MO, the daughter of the late Roger and Thelma (Richardson) Kennedy. Jean married Vernon Dawson on December 23, 1949 in Monett. He preceded her in death in December, 1992.

After 95 years of a life well lived, Frances “Lucille” (Cooper) Holman died peacefully at home Feb. 21, surrounded by her adoring family.

Judy Marie (Ballay) Fisher, 76, of Haysville, KS, formerly of Monett, passed away Monday, Feb. 5.

Ruth (Maxine) Dawson of Verona, passed from this life, peacefully on Feb. 23.

Johnny Cowles, age 83, of Cassville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, Feb. 22, while under the care of Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.

Mary Melissa Chapman, 65, of Aurora, MO, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday evening, February 25, 2024, following a lengthy illness. Melissa, as she was known by most, was born on September 13, 1958, in Monett, MO, daughter of the late Si Francis Grishaber and Bonnie Roberta (Hough) Grishaber.

Sabra Dee Hines-Butterworth, 54, of Aurora, MO, a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Sabra was born on August 2, 1969, in Neosho, MO, daughter of Bill and Gale (Landreth) Hines.

James Roland “Jay” Bowsher, age 92, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Cassville Health and Rehab in Cassville.
