Charges for resisting arrest
A Monett man is facing charges that he resisted arrest and drove a vehicle with a suspended license. Matthew Page, 33, will appear in court on Thursday, Nov. 30 for a bond hearing in the case. He was booked into the Barry County Jail on Friday, Nov. 17.

Charges dropped
A Pierce City man who allegedly attempted to kidnap a Sonic female employee in Monett is no longer facing charges. A search of the criminal case filed against Aaron Michael Fryer on Case.net showed no criminal charges filed against him. Instead, an order of protection filed by the woman he allegedly attempted to abduct was granted on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
