Dr. David Vernon Honeycutt, 82, of Monett, Mo., peacefully completed his sojourn in this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO., with family by his side. Surviving are his wife, Lou Ellen Honeycutt, of the home; two sons, Brad Honeycutt and wife Jennifer of Greenville, Wis., and Rustin Honeycutt and wife Joy of Hewitt, Texas; one daughter, Diane Inman of Monett; seven grandchildren, Trey and Jensen Inman, Dakota Honeycutt (Karly), Paige Honeycutt, Kara Stogsdill, Laurin and David Thomas Honeycutt.. ...

Gov. Mike Parson has appointed David Cole as Circuit Judge for the 39th Judicial Circuit. He will fill the Circuit Judge vacancy created by the appointment of the Honorable Jack  A.L. Goodman to the Southern District Court of Appeals.  Cole, of Cassville, is currently a partner at Ellis, Cupps & Cole Law Firm.
