Cassville man injured in big rig wreck

A Cassville man was injured Friday in a wreck at 5:20 a.m. on Highway 37, three miles north of Purdy. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jonathan Rodgers, 61, of Frankfurt, Kent., was driving a 2016 International Prostar semi tractor trailer westbound and attempted to turn left onto Highway 37, failing to yield to a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu being driven by Andrew Adkins, 22, of Cassville.
