Purdy Fire responds to record number of calls in 2015

County commission says emergency fund looking good

"The emergency fund is an expenditure in the budget," Warren said. "That's the surplus we set aside, kind of like a rainy day fund. A fire that created billowing black smoke bursted out of the loading dock at the rear of the Industrial Machine and Engineering Company (IMEC) plant on North Ninth Street in Monett shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday.
