Tennis season starts for Lady Cubs

With just two returning starters off last year's team, the Monett girls tennis squad has entered a bit of a rebuilding phase this season. However, that is not dampening the spirit of the squad. Missing man found 2 blocks away after leaving hospital

A Monett man who went missing Saturday afternoon was found about five hours after he left Cox Monett Hospital. Monett Police found Earl Rhodes, 82, on Frisco Avenue after a 911 call at about 7:15 p.m. He went missing after being discharged from the hospital at 2:30 p.m., leaving before he could be picked up by family. A Silver Advisory was issued Rhodes, who police say has a pacemaker, and suffers from Alzheimer's, kidney failure and diabetes...
