Monett man stabbed in incident; Victim taken by copter to Springfield (Local News ~ 01/13/14)
A Monett man received a stab wound to the right side of his abdomen in an encounter around 2:30 p.m. on Monday. The victim, who has not been identified, was flown by Mercy Hospitals air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The incident took place in the 300 block of Pine Street at the victim's apartment. The victim did not appear to know his assailant but described him as being around 5-foot-eight, around 50 years old, wearing a goatee and a ball cap... -
