Cattle rustlers strike again (01/23/13)
Cattle rustlers have struck another Lawrence County farmer during the overnight hours of Tuesday, Jan. 22. Eight calves were taken from the Scott Welch Farm in Lawrence County. "When will the new YMCA open in Monett?" has been a question circulating throughout the community for months, and now area residents have a firm answer. Saturday, Feb. 16 has been set as the date for the Monett YMCA's grand opening celebration.
