Three hurt in crash on farm road (03/08/12)
Three people were seriously injured on a single-vehicle crash that took place on Farm Road 1100 about two miles northeast of Monett. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash took place at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday when the driver of a 1998 Chevrolet 1500, Dustin M. The Monett City Council has released a legal opinion from its special legal counsel over when the size of Monett's representative government will have to expand from its current three members. According to Missouri state statutes, when Monett tops 8,000 people in population, the commission form of government will have to expand from three to five members.
