Monett Park Casino slated for demolition (08/17/11)
The Monett City Park Casino, a landmark for social events since 1926, will be coming down. Mayor Jim Orr made the announcement during a work session on the Casino's on Tuesday. Three-vehicle wreck in Monett Monday (08/17/11)
A three-vehicle crash on Bridle Lane at Highway 60 around 3:20 p.m. on Monday resulted in at least one injury. Children got off buses this morning at Monett Elementary School, ready to start their new year. Buses let off at the east end of the first grade wing, giving bus riders a walk down the new colorful hallway on the way to class. Police to conduct DWI effort (08/17/11)
Monett police officers will be cracking down on drunk drivers during an upcoming DWI saturation campaign.
