Purdy School Board raised meal charge for coming year (07/25/11)
The Purdy R-2 Board of Education reviewed financial issues at its July meeting and voted to increase meal prices. Standing on the water (07/25/11)
One unusual sight not likely to be seen again in Pierce City this summer is a crane standing in the middle of Clear Creek. As part of construction replacing the Highway 97 bridge, the construction company contracting with the Missouri Department of Transportation to replace the old 1935 wood bridge has filled in the creek so that a crane can lift pieces of the new bridge in place.
