DREAM work starts with public meeting on Tuesday (12/10/10)
The first public presentation on the Downtown Revitalization and Economic Assistance for Missouri (DREAM) initiative will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Monett Chamber of Commerce's community room. Weatherization help available (12/10/10)
Over the next 15 months, OACAC will use around $8 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding to weatherize over 2,000 southwest Missouri homes. According to Todd Steinmann, OACAC weatherization director, stimulus funds have been used to weatherize 56 homes in Barry County. Verona R-7 board approves tutoring option for this years (12/10/10)
Students struggling with homework in the Verona R-7 School District will now have the option to participate in after-school tutoring sessions. The R-7 Board approved the plan at its Nov. 18 meeting.
