The YMCA "giving house" is gone (12/09/10)
The former Jones/Kleiboeker house located at Monett's South Park was torn down this week but not before it earned a special designation among YMCA board and staff members as "the giving house." The Purdy Eagles basketball team defeated the McAuley Warriors 74-44 Tuesday night in Joplin. Purdy jumped out to a 30-13 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 51-27 at halftime.
