New trustee joins Freistatt Village Board (04/15/10)
Ryan Buchmueller joined the Freistatt Village Board of Trustees at the board's April meeting. Buchmueller, the pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church, was elected by write-in vote. Results from the April 6 election were approved. Returning to office is James M. Ortwein, the only candidate who filed. Healthy Kids Day returns to Monett (04/15/10)
This Saturday will mark the seventh annual Healthy Kids Day. The event, which sponsored by the Monett Area YMCA, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 17 at the Monett South Park. For two hours, area children and their families will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of games, activities and entertainment.
