Barry County man dies in accident (02/15/10)
A Golden man was killed Friday night in a one-vehicle crash on Farm Road 2260 two miles north of Golden. Wesley N. Johnson, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Barry County Deputy Coroner Charlie McManus. Pierce City cutbacks force personnel changes (02/15/10)
A reduction in hours and expense accounts instituted last month in Pierce City has resulted in changes in city personnel. Water and wastewater operator Charlie Ingram resigned after the reductions went into effect.
