Monett School Board gets construction porject update (10/01/09)
Plans for facility improvements for the Monett R-1 School District took greater shape at the September board meeting as details were reviewed with architects. Pam Haldeman and Jim Stufflebeam, from Sapp Design Architects, brought preliminary schematics to update board members on changes under consideration at Monett Elementary School. Local woman battles to beat breast cancer (10/01/09)
Carmen Jenkins' two-year battle with breast cancer began when the Monett wife and mother of three detected a lump during a routine breast self exam (BSE).
