Businesses begin task of cleaning up (09/23/09)
Damage from flooding varied significantly around Monett from Saturday's rainfall. On Broadway, where business owners are used to dealing with Kelly Creek overflowing, the impact was minimal but troublesome. At Fashion Crossroads at 413 E. This Friday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m., the Monett 911 Communications Center will conduct a test of its "Flood Notification System." Dancing 'connection' draws people to festival (09/23/09)
Around 100 people enjoyed fellowship and dancing from Thursday to Sunday evening last weekend at the Meet in the Middle tango festival at Murray's Vintage Venue in Mt. Vernon.
