Jerry Pillip Spiker, 69, of Fairview, died March 18, 2009, at his home. Mr. Spiker was born Jan. 14, 1940, in New Madrid, the son of James and Edna Sattings Spiker. He was a member of Glory Land Way Ministry. His wife, Gladys Spiker, survives. Additional survivors include: five daughters, Paula Spiker, of Three Oaks, Mich., Robin Byrer, of Fairview, Patricia Zilm and Evelyn Mitchell, both of Elkhart, Ind., and Esther Dowey, of Newman, Ga.; two sons, James Spiker, of Elkhart, Ind., and Albert Mitchell Jr., of Anderson; one sister, Donna Spiker, of Winter Haven, Fla.; and two brothers, James Spiker and Terry Spiker, both of Benton, Ky.. ...

Mark Stephen Parrigon, age 54, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009, after a long illness. He was born in Monett, Missouri, on April 3, 1954, to Leo and Joyce (Williams) Parrigon. He graduated from McAuley High School in 1973. After graduation, he worked at Hydro Aluminum, formerly Wells Aluminum, for 24 years, at both the Monett and Cassville plants. He has worked the past 11 years at Schreiber Foods in Monett...

Mary Amanda Arnold, 93, of Carthage, formerly of Cassville, died March 18, 2009, in St. Luke's Nursing Center in Carthage. Mrs. Arnold was born April 11, 1915, in Bristow, Okla., the daughter of Cecil Floyd and Lillie May Catron Niccum. She was a 1935 graduate of Bristow High School. ...
