The Knights of Columbus at St. Lawrence CatholicChurchinMonett will host the annual Mouse Race fundraiser, with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, and the first race kicking off at 7 p.m. Early race mouse purchases are $25 and include entry, meal and beverage. Mouseless cover charge is $10 and includes the meal and beverage. To purchase a mouse, people may contact Ed Velten at 417-2359638 or Al Dohmen at 417-236-5354.

will host its first meeting of 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at the new library in Monett. Doors open at 6 p.m. with food and drink (no alcohol) for all. A tour of the library will take place at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting gets underway at 7 p.m. There is still time to donate to the 2022 fourth quarter winner, the Monett Barry-Lawrence County Library Youth Collection. The donation window continues through Saturday, Jan. 21. Donations may be made online at: cfozarks. org/100monett, or via mail at: Community Foundation of the Ozarks, Attention: 100 Women Monett, PO Box 8960, Springfield, MO 65801. Donations will receive a 50 percent matching funds grant for this quarter. For every $100 donated, an additional $50 will be added.
