Thefts from cars prompts warning

In March, about ten cars parked at the YMCA had their windows smashed in on two separate occasions and valuables removed from inside. The vandalism was believed to be the work of members of a gang based out of Florida or New York, said George Daoud, chief of the Monett Police Department, and he doesn’t believe they’re done yet.
