Arc of the Ozarks receives highest accreditation

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International recently announced that The Arc of the Ozarks has been accredited for a period of three years for its behavioral consultation services, community employment services: employment supports, community employment services: job development, community housing, community housing (autism spectrum disorderadults), community integration, community integration (autism spectrum disorder – adults), services for children and youth: child and adolescent services, services for children and youth: child and adolescent services (autism spectrum disorder- child and adolescents), supported living, supported living (autism spectrum disorder-adults), and transition services. The latest accreditation is the 10th consecutive three-year accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has given to The Arc of the Ozarks.

Scott Tech students compete in JROTC Raider meet

Scott Tech’s JROTC Raider team traveled to Macon March 26 to compete in the 2nd annual Moberly Army JROTC Raider meet, where they competed against schools from across Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa. The Scott Tech Raider team earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies in three separate events and an overall 4th place finish. The day started with a 5-kilometer run followed by an obstacle course, rope bridge construction, physical fitness challenge and a one-mile rucksack run.
