Harold Wayne Pierce, Jr., 54, of Monett, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, April 21, 2024 while at his home. Harold, or to some he was known as “Little Harold” or “Pierce Man”, was born on September 13, 1969 in Elgin, IL, son of Harold Wayne Pierce, Sr.

Bruce Edward Schatzer, age 75, of Marionville, passed away on Friday, April 19 peacefully in his sleep. He was born August 24, 1948, in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of Oscar and Kathryn (Erickson) Schatzer.

Billy Joe “B.J.” Chappell, age 90, of Washburn, passed away Saturday, April 20, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 23, at King Cemetery in Seligman, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

“Walt” Pettit, 97, passed on April 19. Walt was born in Springfield, on November 11, 1926, to Walter, Sr.

Rebecca Ann Tyler, age 71, of Joplin, passed away at 9:49 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at her home.

Lawrence Angyal Lawrence “Larry” Martin Angyal, aka “Bud”, 62, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away April 11, 2024. He was born on January 29, 1962 in Monett, Missouri to Lawrence William Angyal and Edna Mae (Conley) Angyal.

Paul “Red” Richard Thomas, 97, of Purdy, was called to his Heavenly home to be with his wife on Saturday April 6, while at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Mt. Vernon.

Rick Balmas Rick Lee Balmas, 72, of Stotts City, MO, left this world for his heavenly home on Sunday morning, April 7, 2024 while at his residence. Rick was born on April 16, 1951 in Monett, MO, son of the late Jack and Frances (Diotte) Balmas.
