The Monett Middle School 7th Grade Boys won big at the Big 8 Conference Championships in Marshfield on Saturday, April 27. The boys were the Big 8 Conference Champions in the 4x100 relay and 4x200 relay, placing first in both contests. Additionally, Theo Smith placed first in the long jump, 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter dash and 200-meter dash. He set new school records in the 100-meter hurdles and 400-memter dash with times of 16.22 and 55.77, respectively. Cameron Yoho was also first in the discus throw.
