Dean Ariel Anderson, age 86, of Aurora, passed away at 10:05 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, at his home. He was born July 8, 1937, in Harvard, Illinois, the son of Arndt Oliver and Alcie Ruth (Berg) Anderson.

In 1993 he married Janice Gayle Henson, in Springfield, Illinois and she survives. He is also survived by one daughter; three sons; one brother; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; a son; a daughter; and a brother.

A funeral service under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will be held at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Harvard, Illinois.
