Karen Elizabeth Hull, age 85, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 12:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Cox Hospital in Monett. She was born Dec. 30, 1938, in Saginaw, Mich., the daughter of John Claude and Helen Geraldine (DeYoung) Hales.

A visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, the MARC Community Center in Mt. Vernon, with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m. at the MARC. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon.
