Area students earn Dean's List placement

Three area students were named to the Spring 2021 Dean's List at Central Methodist University, which was announced recently by CMU provost Dr. Rita Gulstad. They are: Jobe Edwards, of Lockwood, a senior majoring in marine biology; Crystal Kimmi, of Aurora, a senior majoring in music education; and Austin Schaedler, of Mt. Vernon, a junior majoring in music education. Nearly 1,000 students across all campuses and online learning met the requirements for placement, including a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the semester.

Two named to SNHU Winter 2021 President's List

Michelle Duchene, of Purdy, and Abigail Rinker, of Mount Vernon, were among the students named to the Winter 2021 President's List at Southern New Hampshire University. Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6. The winter term runs from January to May.

Harding University releases Dean's List

Two locals are among more than 1,150 Harding University students included on the Dean's List for grades achieved during the spring 2021 semester. They are: Brooke Lemaster, of Monett, a senior nursing major; and Jacelyn Neff, of Aurora, a senior apparel merchandise major. The dean's list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.
