St. Lawrence sixth graders recognized

Students graduating sixth grade at St. Lawrence Catholic School in Monett this year have earned the Presidential Education Award for outstanding academic excellence. The Presidential Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence is given to students in the terminal grade of a school who have met certain criteria including a 3.5 or greater grade point average and score of 95 percent or better in math or reading on a standards based achievement test taken within the past two years. The entire sixth grade class from St. Lawrence met these standards and were given the award on behalf of President Biden.
