Monett vaccination clinic needs participants

More than 900 vaccines available at Tuesday event

Residents eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination are urged to register immediately for the Monett Vaccination Clinic.

The mass vaccination clinic scheduled for Tuesday is at risk of being canceled if registration remains low. As of Friday, there were fewer than 100 registrants for the nearly 1.000 available vaccinations.

Missouri Residents eligible for vaccination include all persons 65 years of age or older and all residents 60 years of age with health conditions such as:

• Cancer

• Chronic Kidney Disease

• COPD

• Heart Conditions

• Weakened immune system due to organ transplant

• Severe obesity (BMI >40)

• Pregnancy

• Sickle Cell Disease

• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

• Intellectual and/or developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome

Health care workers and first responders also remain eligible for vaccines. Anyone you in any of the above groups may be vaccinated, if you register now.
