MHS Class of 1964 holds 55th reunion

The Monett High School Class of 1964 recently hosted its 55th anniversary reunion. In the front row, Vickie (Jones) Cornman. The Monett High School Class of 1964 held its 55th anniversary reunion on Saturday , June 22, at the Monett Historical Museum Event Center with 24 classmates and 15 spouses/guests attending. Later in the evening, eight visitors joined the celebrants.

Attendees began the evening with a tour of the museum, including the upstairs, given by Mark Henderson with some staying behind and just looking at around the first floor.

Classmates then enjoyed a delicious dinner, which was catered by the Brown Bag of Monett. The rest of the evening was spent visiting, reminiscing and taking pictures.

A table was set up with pictures and dates of those not with us anymore.

Those traveling the farthest included Hank Horn, from Beaverton, Ore., Janzen Bass. of Phoenix, Ariz., and Janice (Boucher) Hinchion, of Castle Pines, Colo.

Members have scheduled another reunion in five years.
