High winds on Tuesday created a wide range of threats answered by area firefighters. At 906 N. Central in Monett, firemen were called shortly after 4 p.m. when a large tree limb, pictured at right, broke and fell, ripping wires out of the meter box. Firefighter Shane Anderson, at left, called out to stop a pedestrian from walking into the wires left dangling in the alley behind the house. Murray Bishoff/times-news@monett-times.com
