Purdy FBLA wins team trophies, medals at Crowder

Squad captures three team trophies, four individual medals

Purdy Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) won team trophies and individual awards at the annual Crowder Business Contest, held on March 29.

Competitors earning individual accolades included Rion Boyd, first place in business math; Liz Moore, first place in computer applications; Emily Webb, second place in business communications and Kyler Propps, third place in marketing.

Teams awarded Division III trophies included the business communications team of Carly England, Adam Humphrey, Rylee Moller, Bayleigh Schad and Emily Webb; the business math team of Rion Boyd, Tyler Keeler, Emma Mareth, Mason Schallert and Hannah White and the computer applications team of Liz Moore, Layne Skiles, Zoe Brown, Hallie Henderson and Emma Mareth.

“Our FBLA members represented our school well. We truly have some of the best students in the area, and we are so proud of them," said Kay Wright, who advises the team with Ashley Brown.
