Rose homecoming royalty candidates named at MHS

Royalty has been selected for the Rose basketball homecoming at Monett High School, which will be held on Friday, Jan. 30, as the Cubs take on the Trojans from Southwest High School. The student body will select the queen, which will be announced at the game, from three senior candidates. Members of the royal court, selected by the student body, front row, from left, are: freshman attendant Rosa Fulton, sophomore attendant Deven Kimzey, and senior queen candidates Kiersten Harper, McKenna Mahl and Kiley Franke. Junior attendant Kourtney Easter was absent. Nominated to the royal court, in the second row, are: freshmen Shelby Michael and Emily Webb; sophomore Sydney Sebastian, seniors Megan Ballay and Karissa Wiseman and junior Ginna Verhoff.
