   Compared to last Monday, breaking and boning slaughter cows sold steady
to 1.00 lower while lean cows and slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher.
Several cull dairy cows were included in the offering. There was a light
supply of bred cows and a very light supply of cow/calf pairs. Receipts
returned closer to normal today with temperatures approaching the 50ís and
most of the ice and snow gone. Supply and demand were moderate for
slaughter classes.

96.00-113.50; 3-7 yrs 965-1345 lbs 76.50-92.00.

Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  3 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and
3rd stage few 948-1325 lbs 1000.00-1100.00, 1st stage 1075-1225 lbs
950.00-1175.00. Large 1-2  2 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd
stage 1398-1700 lbs 1175.00-1510.00; broken mouth 3rd stage 1575-1605 lbs
1125.00-1135.00. Medium and Large 2  5-7 yrs 2nd and 3rd stage 970-1255
lbs 850.00-1025.00, 1st stage 2-6 yrs couple 845-1110 lbs 850.00 per head.

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  2 yrs to short and solid mouth
1040-1170 lb cows w/120-380 lb calves and a few rebred 1550.00-1700.00.
Large 1-2  7 yr 1400 lb cow w/360 lb calf 1710.00. Medium 1-2  7 yr 835 lb
cow w/150 lb calf 1150.00; broken mouth 835 lb cow w/135 lb calf 950.00
per pair.
