Crowder College had five student-athletes honored this year, including Monett's Aaron Patton. Crane man injured in I-44 wreck

A Crane man suffered serious injuries Friday at about 3:45 p.m. in a wreck on Interstate 44, at the 40.6 mile marker. Gallery to host Bremer exhibit (Local News ~ 07/14/15)

Monett City Council approves subpoena against AT&T

The Monett City Council has authorized City Administrator Dennis Pyle to seek a subpoena for records regarding cell phone activity by AT&T in the city. Pyle reported that a review of payments on the city's telecommunications tax, paid by all cell phone providers, showed receipts from AT&T have gone on a steady decline, unlike all other providers.
