Monett Special Road District summer projects named
More than $210,000 in materials to be used for overlay, chip and seal
Bruce Washeck at the Monett Special Road District has reported on summer projects for both Barry and Lawrence counties that total more than eight miles of road repairs.
In Barry County, there will be a one-mile stretch on Farm Road 1060 that will be chipped and sealed, along with another one mile of chip and seal on Farm Road 1100.
On Farm Road 2040, a two-mile stretch of chip and seal is planned, and a one-mile overlay on Farm Road 2030.
In Lawrence County, 1.5 miles of roadway is slated for chip and seal on Farm Road 1076, and another one-mile stretch on Farm Road 2210.
Finishing up the summer projects will be a one mile stretch of roadway slated for chip and seal on Farm Road 2200.
Washeck said the estimated cost of materials totals more than $210,000.
