Instructor, staff changes made at Monett
11 positions filled with new hires
Monett students will see some new faces in the coming academic year, as well as some familiar ones shifting positions within the school district.
New hires include Melissa Duncan, middle school math teacher; McKenzie Moreland, elementary school special education teacher; James Bland, Garrett Craig, Bailey Eaton, Jennifer Jack, Mary Vaught and Michelle Winzer, substitute teachers; Lindsey Burch, Monett Regional Learning Center behavior specialist; Lia Meredith, part-time custodian; and Montana Wells, elementary special education paraprofessional.
Retiring from the district are Cindy Rutherford, sixth-grade teacher at intermediate school, and Kenneth Carney, intermediate special education.
Transferring to other campuses are Aimee Allen, from elementary to sixth grade; Jeff Charles, from elementary special education to high school special education; and Kristy Berger, from intermediate sixth-grade to gifted teacher at Central Park Elementary, Monett Intermediate and Monett Middle schools.
Resignations were accepted from Jennifer Bell, elementary early childhood special education teacher; Gary Cook, high school social studies teacher and speech and debate coach; Elizabeth Robrahn, middle school math; Elizabeth Wormington, third-grade teacher at Central Park; Elisa Wren, high school assistant band and choir director; Jessica Kaler, elementary first-grade teacher; David Williams, alternative learning academy director and community education coordinator; Rejeanna Williams, full time substitute teacher; and Kate Zabert, elementary special education paraprofessional and Cub House teacher.
