3 Lady Cubs earn 3rd in Diamond

Monett girls tie for 7th at Gem City Scramble

The Monett girls wrestling team competed in the Gem City Scramble in Diamond on Monday, with three Lady Cubs earning third-place finishes.

Finishing in third were: Abby Jastal, who went 3-2 with two pins; Brooke Bluel, who went 3-2 with one pin; and Emily Hinojosa, who went 1-3 with a pin.

Jazmin Garrett was fourth, going 2-3 with two pins; Jersey Vanderhoef took fifth at 1-4 with a pin; Brittany Hickerson finished sixth, going 1-4; Dah Wah placed eighth, finishing 1-4 with a pin; and Jewelia Wiloughby took ninth, going 2-2 with two pins.
