New superintendent named at Southwest Research Center

Reagan Bluel, field specialist in dairy for MU Extension, has been named interim superintendent of the Southwest Research Center in Mt. Vernon. Bluel earned her bachelorís degree in animal sciences and her masterís degree in ruminant nutrition from the University of Missouri. She has served in her dairy specialist role since 2014. Along with serving as the interim superintendent, Reagan will continue her duties as a field specialist in dairy for MU Extension. She replaces David Cope, who served as the superintendent of the Southwest Research Center for the past six years. Contributed photo
