Pierce City announces personnel changes
Contract extensions offered to admins
Pierce City School District has announced a list of resignations, new hires and contract extensions for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Resignations include those from Linda Jelinek, high school art teacher, who is retiring; Jenifer Graves, special education director; Kelsey Lawrence, school district administrator claim (SDAC) coordinator; Jessica Wells, assistant high school girls basketball coach; and Micayla Blinzler, assistant middle school volleyball coach.
Newly hired educators include: Amber Wagner, high school art teacher; Jarrod O’Hara, for the position of school safety coordinator; Jennifer Finley, SDAC coordinator, Christina Portillo, student transportation assistant; and Emily Pry, assistant high school girls basketball coach.
Contract extensions were offered to: Shannon Holden, high school and middle school principal, a two-year contract; Matt Street, assistant principal and athletic director, a two-year contract; Emily Scott, elementary principal, a two-year contract; and Kelli Alumbaugh, superintendent, a three-year contract.
